Connecting Acuity to Salesforce with API

We want to send our appointment data from Acuity to our Salesforce org. We want to create new contact records and map the appointment details onto a custom object we have. We also need cancellations and reschedulings from Acuity to update the Salesforce records. We can't use Zapier since it is not HIPAA compliant and we are a healthcare company so we need to use the Acuity API. https://developers.acuityscheduling.com/
